Welcome

May 2026:

Long time no update!

I’m planning a complete redesign of this site (with some fun new things), but I’m working on it in the background between classes as I finish up this degree.

I remembered something from way back in the Geocities days (and even the far-back AOL days) that I’ve missed, so a big delay in my redesign is working out how I want to implement that. There’s a lot of buttons and other assets to create for it, but it’ll be something fun for community building and general foolery!

Other than that, I’ve been making art and love, as usual. I’ve got a piece in an exhibition starting today! It’s my first such art thing, so that’s exciting!

This is the piece

It's 20” x 16”, acrylic on plaster relief.

Aside from that (and the myriad of paintings I’ve been doing), I’m designing a dress for an event, and working on the 2027 edition of Billy Brujo’s Ephemerinomicon.

Busy busy bat, as always!

Love,
Mad Ange

April 2025:

Hello Again!

I’m still working on getting this website up, I’ve just been exceedingly busy with projects.

Since my last update I’ve done several paintings, and I even made my first film!

Look at me doing film things!

I’ll eventually make sections for the various forms of my art, but for now go check out my Instagram for a selection of works.

February 2025:

Hey, I finally made a website!

I’ve been wanting to make a website for my art shit for a while, but I didn’t want to setup on another wordpress or blogger or whatever other bland platform that’s readily available.

I’d been missing the old days of the internet – GeoCities and Angelfire, webrings and banner exchanges, random sites of marvel and mystery that oppose the monotony and homogeneity of what the internet has become.

And then I recalled mention of NeoCities and went on a small journey.

Here it was again in some form: A glimpse of the golden days of the web as seen through a carnival lens - slightly distorted and not quite the same, but still a familiar form made new. And I began creating, tweaking code templates and trying to recall html from 30+ years ago while trying to understand basic CSS, and spending hours – days, even - making pixel art once more.

So bear with me while I slowly configure and contort this website, molding and shaping it into my own little corner of madness <3

Love,
Mad Ange
